Here is the same sequence processed with and without dark frames.
Note: if you have anything even a little more modern e.g. anything with the 18Mp sensor and Digic 4 processor or better, you shouldn't need to use dark frames. Our 700d is totally clean.
Don't fret about matching dark and light frame temperatures. With the dark optimization algorithms available in modern software, you don't need a temperature match. Here we are in Siril:
