45 light years away and with a gibbous moon to light the way, I never hoped for much of this little gem. Almost edge on and close to m97 the owl imaged a few weeks ago, the maximum exposure was 3 minutes a throw. Méchain discovered m108 a few days after the owl on 12 March 1791. He must have seen something similar to this.
