the jellyfish is a supernova leftover from thousands of years ago. Around 5000 light years distant, it was just strong enough to penetrate the Polop haze last night and the night before, so 2 sessions over 2 nights. Easier than I thought. The uncontrollable light from the foreground star propus reminds me of a red version of alnitak and just as hard to control: StarTools to the rescue!
