Sunspot Update II

Today I did want to take sunspot. Oh look, it's bright and sunny. The same sunspot group is visible as 2 days ago. With a little trial and error, I got closer to the best shutter/aperture settings. Better too, as these photos are separated by over 3 hours. I'm not on an equatorial mount so the image appears to rotate. These must be sunspots and not dust on the lens! Some nice drifting cloud today too but lots of atmospheric turbulence. Photos taken with one of those old 3 lenses in a black tube preset 500mm lens' with a Nikon D50. Jessops Sun Filter and around 1/8 sec @ f16. ISO 400.
